There is a method which Sidewalk Nature calls “Mosquito Bucket of Doom”, which is a simple method that will kill mosquitos in their larvae phase. Simply fill a bucket of water, then add some grass, a stick, and a BTi dunk. The adult mosquitos will lay eggs in the bucket, but once the eggs hatch the BTi dunk will kill the larvae.
